Visual

Visible light is the most obvious way we can look at objects. Most surfaces reflect light, allowing us to interpret colour and texture. The charter was examined using light in different ways.

Digital microscopes, which plug into a computer through a USB cable, allow quick and flexible examination of a surface. The charter was examined with a Dino Lite digital microscope.
